Jack Raftery Takes the men's 400m Title!

Jack Raftery delivered yet another statement performance over 400m this weekend — and he did it wearing the Donore Harriers singlet produced by GOWA.

At the 2025 National Senior Track & Field Championships, Raftery retained his Men’s 400m crown with a commanding display, clocking 45.71 seconds to finish clear of a high-quality field. After a steady opening, Jack powered down the back straight in trademark style, eating up the stagger before surging into the lead off the final bend — a finish that has become his trademark.

While the time was just shy of his recent PB (and Irish #2 all-time) of 44.98, set at the European Team Championships, this run showed class, control, and championship poise.

Raftery’s performance wasn’t just a victory for himself and Donore Harriers — it was also a proud moment for GOWA Sports. The custom club kit worn by Jack, created to meet the demands of elite competition, was put to the ultimate test on the national stage and came through in style.
